Coach Vidrine

Better known to her students as Coach V.  Julie Vidrine is the Physical Education teacher at Oakhurst Elementary School. A graduate of Texas Christian University (TCU), Coach Vidrine is passionate about helping students develop healthy habits, confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of physical activity.

Coach Vidrine believes that physical education is more than just exercise. It is an opportunity for students to build character, learn sportsmanship, develop leadership skills, and discover the joy of movement in a positive and supportive environment. She strives to ensure that every student feels successful, included, and encouraged to do their best.

Outside of school, Coach Vidrine is the proud mother of four children and grandmother of five grandchildren, with another grandchild on the way. She enjoys spending time with her family, relaxing at the river, and cooling off in the pool during the Texas summers.

Coach Vidrine is proud to be part of the Oakhurst Elementary family for 20 years and looks forward to helping students build healthy lifestyles and positive memories through physical education.
