Mr. Guarneros

My name is Erik Guarneros. I am the 5th Grade Math Teacher here at Oakhurst and a Soccer Coach at Young Women's Leadership Academy. I am born in Henderson Texas and raised in Acatlan, Hidalgo, Mexico. I am the son of hard working immigrant parents who sacrificed a lot in order to help me attend Sam Houston State University and become the first college graduate in my family. I have been in education for 11 years and throughout my time in education my goal has always been to provide every student in my classroom with the tools necessary to be successful both in school and life.
